This Fall I would like to supervise a maximum of two papers.
Both papers are of particular interest in Biostatistics. The first deals with the broad issue of model selection. Familiarity with model selection procedures for multiple regression, such as stepwise selection, and with information based criteria, such as Akaike's Information Criterion (AIC) is essential. The second paper deals with model choice randomized trials with longitudinal follow-up. Familiarity with linear mixed models is required.
