Design and Analysis of Experiments
Select the STAT 404 LEC and one lab., Labs begin second week of classes.
Textbook: Montgomery, D.C. Design and Analysis of Experiments, 7th or 6th edition
Prerequisite: Stat 305 + course in matrix algebra, Co-requisite: Stat 306
The course will cover parts of Chapters 1-6, 8, 10, 13-15 of the textbook (6th edition), or Chapters 1-6, 8, 10, 12-14 of the textbook (5th edition), and also cover some linear model theory not in the textbook. The lectures and textbook will supplement each other. The statistical software used in class will be R and SAS: http://www.r-project.org and http://support.sas.com/ctx/sodareg
