Dr Arnaud Doucet has been awarded a Canada Research Chair (CRC)

Dr Arnaud Doucet has been awarded a Canada Research Chair (CRC) Tier II in Stochastic Computation. The CRC program is a federal initiative to attract the world's leading scholars to Canada. Arnaud joined the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Statistics as an Associate Professor earlier this year from Cambridge University, UK. Arnaud's research interests include Monte Carlo methods, simulation, and Bayesian methods. See UBC press release. Congratulations, Arnaud!
