Biostatistical Research Group
The Biostatistics Research Group (BRG) is an informal group designed to facilitate interactions amongst Vancouver-area researchers involved with biostatistical methods and applications. Participants come from many institutions, including the Department of Statistics and the Department of Health Care and Epidemiology at UBC, the BC Cancer Agency, the Canadian HIV Trials Network, St. Paul's Hospital, and Simon Fraser University. The group's main activity is a seminar series. Each seminar is either a research seminar, a journal club session, or a working session. A working session allows a researcher to present work in progress and obtain feedback from the group.
