Biography
My interests include problems associated with high dimensional environmental data containing elements of misspecification, censoring, and other complications. I'm also interested in the corresponding computational problems, mainly in the form of Monte Carlo methods. My research is being done alongside my co-supervisors Arnaud Doucet (Department of Statistics, University of Oxford) and Jim Zidek (Department of Statistics, University of British Columbia). By way of background, I received a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of the Fraser Valley and an MSc in Statistics from UBC under the co-supervison of Arnaud Doucet and Raphael Gottardo (Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center).
