A sessional lecturer position is available in the Department of Statistics, UBC-Vancouver from May 1 to June 30, 2017. A Master’s degree in Statistics is required. Completion of, or current registration in, a PhD program is preferred. The position requires demonstrated ability to provide effective instruction of introductory Statistics at the undergraduate level. In keeping with these duties and the goals of our undergraduate program, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with data analysis, and some exposure to active learning techniques.
