Short Term Consulting Service

We are currently in the process of recruiting consultants and there is no guarantee that a STCS student consultant is available. You can contact ASDa at (Contact Us) to get help from an ASDa consultant.

The Short Term Consulting Service (STCS) is run entirely by the graduate students of the Department of Statistics who have completed the course Stat 550, Techniques of Statistical Consulting, of the Department's graduate program. The aim of this service is to offer professional statistical assistance on short term (typically less than 15 hours).

What do we do

Whether it is an explanation of appropriate statistical techniques, assistance in designing a study, or the analysis of a data set, the STCS can help you with the statistical problems that are common in almost all research. We strongly recommend contacting us as early as possible. A well designed experiment is key to statistically defensible conclusions. Our consultants can assist you with this crucial planning stage.
