Camila Casquilho Resende awarded Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award

Statistics PhD candidate Camila Casquilho Resende has been awarded the prestigious Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award for 2014/2015.

Camila has distinguished herself in the Department as a particularly professional and dedicated TA, and has been making notable contributions to the educational mission of the Department for some time. In particular, Camila produces highly polished course materials and is an invaluable support for instructors, mentors new TAs through her participation in the departmental TA training program, and continually goes above and beyond to assist students.

The Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award recognizes excellence in teaching, and Camila received one of only five such awards across the Faculty of Science. More information on the award can be found here.
