In a collaboration between the UBC Master of Data Science program (MDS) and UBC Extended Learning (ExL), UBC recently launched the Key Capabilities in Data Science program. This flexible, part-time program is made up of four courses, all delivered online. Courses can be taken individually or in a sequence, allowing learners to explore different data science topics.
Several courses in the program will be co-taught by one of our Assistant Professors of Teaching, Tiffany Timbers. Specifically, Tiffany will be teaching the programming, data visualization, and data science toolbox courses.
And hats off to Hayley Boyce, MDS Education Specialist, who took the lead on developing the course materials.
